The climate in Croatia is very suitable for sailing: The air temperature generally range from 10 °C in winter to 32 °C in summer, and the sea temperature range from 12 °C in winter to 28 °C in summer. In general, it is windier in winter, but there is good wind throughout the whole year. In our opinion, spring and autumn are the best periods for sports sailing, and summer is more suitable for swimming holidays, sunbathing and holidays with children, although in summer can be very windy as well. The most common winds are Mistral – NW, Tramontana – N, Bura – NE and Jugo – SE.
